Privacy policy
Effective October 23, 2026. Baddie is made by me, Tai Maor.
What you log in Baddie belongs to you. There's no account, no advertising, no analytics and no tracking. Below is everything that does leave your phone, and when.
Kept on your device
Habits, logs, notes, moods, reasons, amounts, prices and settings are stored only on your iPhone or iPad, and on your Apple Watch if you use it. If you have iCloud Backup turned on, they're included in your device's backup. I never receive any of it.
Backups and sync in your iCloud (off unless you turn them on)
With automatic backups on, Baddie saves a copy of your data once a day to your own iCloud account, which Apple manages. If iCloud isn't available, the copy is saved on your device instead. Baddie Pro adds iCloud sync, which keeps the same habits and history on all your devices through that same iCloud account. I can't see either one.
Buying Baddie Pro
You buy Pro through the App Store. Apple handles the payment and your Apple Account, so I never see your name, email address or payment details. To know whether you own Pro, Baddie asks the App Store on your device. Apple sends me anonymous sales reports, for example how many people in a country bought Pro.
Crash reports
When Baddie crashes it sends a report saying where in the code it happened, along with the app version, iOS version and device model. It never contains your habits, logs, notes or anything that identifies you. The reports go to Sentry (sentry.io), with IP address storage turned off. You can switch crash reports off in Settings › Privacy.
Exchange rates
If you change your currency, or bring in amounts in a different currency from a backup, a file or another device, you can ask Baddie to look up the exchange rate from ExchangeRate-API (open.er-api.com). The request only contains the currency codes, though like any request on the internet it shows that service your IP address.
Outside links
The health pages link to other websites, like public health agencies and findahelpline.com. Those sites have privacy policies of their own.
Deleting your data
Settings › Data & Backups › Erase everything removes every habit and log from the app. Deleting the app removes its data from your device. Backups in your own iCloud are yours to delete from iCloud settings.
Children
Baddie is rated for adults and isn't directed at children.
Changes to this policy
When it changes I'll update this page and the date above. If Baddie ever starts collecting something new, the app will tell you first.
